This Jamestown, RI project was a full first-floor transformation designed to enhance both the functionality and the architectural character of a waterfront home. The scope focused on reworking the kitchen, dining, and living spaces while introducing custom millwork, upgraded finishes, and a more cohesive flow throughout the home.

In the kitchen, we replaced the existing island with a custom island, topped with white quartz and integrated with new plumbing, lighting, and electrical upgrades. The layout improvements created a more central gathering space while maintaining clean sightlines into the living areas.

The dining and sitting areas were redefined by opening up walls and framing a new transition between spaces, anchored by a custom-built bookshelf with walnut accents. Detailed wall paneling, ceiling paneling, and refined trim work elevated these rooms from simple transitional spaces into intentional, finished environments.

In the main living room, we introduced architectural elements that completely transformed the space, including exposed walnut beams, a custom-built mantel, and a fully reimagined fireplace. Finished with a fieldstone veneer surround and bluestone hearth, the fireplace serves as a refined focal point that anchors the room while reflecting the home’s coastal character.

Throughout the home, we completed extensive electrical upgrades, added layered lighting, refinished the hardwood floors, and executed a full interior paint scope to unify the palette and brighten the entire space.
